Transformation - First RP

(It is the 18th birthday of Mayor Iona's son (who remains unnamed), and the Mayor has rented out a huge crusie ship for the party to take place on. All of the people whose families have ties to the Mayor, or who are just generally 'upper class' have been invited, along with all of his son's friends (who are mostly rich B's). Several of the other teens scrambled to fill out an application so they could work on the cruise, as Mayor Iona always pays very well. Still more people decided to sneak in...)

It took less than an hour for the ship to set out from the docks, and they were already out of snacks. Lowell had absolutely no idea how a bunch of whiney teenagers could eat so much food! And, surely none of his fellow workers had gotten into the food... He raised a brow at Trudy. Well, she was a likely candidate for food theft. But, somehow, he was sure there was someone else behind this. Someone who was not a guest...

Reguardless, he had to get more food out, so Lowell turned and headed back into the galley to get more of those dang snacks!

Hayden couldn't help but smirk to herself. Sneaking in on this ship had been even easier than she'd generally anticipated. All these rich pricks were so confident nobody had a chance or wish to sneak in that they made the task too easy for her.

She was currently more-or-less comfortably sitting down in her hiding place, munching on the variety of goods she'd nicked from the table. You would think everybody here was blind, judging by the amount of food in her lap. That, or completely stupid. When it came down to free food, though, Hayden wasn't one to complain.

She was currently contemplating whether or not she should trip one of the workers that walked right past her hidden feet. Decisions, decisions...

Ugghhh. This party was so dull. Not only was she forced to associate with Chuck's idiot friends, she had to pretend to enjoy the company. She had better things to do with her time than this. They were talking about Jersey Shore. She could seriously feel her IQ dropping. And the food? The food was just... Ew. She was not touching any of it! Buffets were just a breeding ground for unwanted creep germs.

Laney had managed to slip away from the others for a few moments to in order to maintain her sanity. Now that she stood on deck alone at least she could think and pout as she pleased. It was actually pretty nice out... It was warm and the moon was pretty. She simply wished she could be some where more enjoyable. With better company.

Trudy busily work shift away "handling" the food. If there was anything to do with food, she was in! She had currently started her dieting [consisting of anything sweet, delicious, or edible] and planned to stick to it. She looked over the food table suspecious. She glanced over at Lowell. He may not have noticed missing food because he barely ate, but when you go fangirl over a $5 chinese buffet like Trudy did, you knew a thing or two about lacking food.

Trudy decided to investigate, not to help, but for the chance that she may get out of work and be able to keep the found food. She began sniffing the air- she would find it. No one, /no one/ could hide food from this girl.

A short while after the cruise ship had set out from the docks, Brielle finally stepped upon the stage. Her dance teacher, Madame Favreux, was an old friend of the mayor and he requested for her best dancerto perform at his sons birthday party. Sure, it was flattering that Madame F. had chosen her as the best dancer but Brielle recognized some of the audience from school and was unsure about performing in front of them, what would they think of it? What would they think of her? She peaked through the stage curtain at her audience once more and thought 'Come on Brielle. you've never let nerves stop you from performing before, sure, it's the kids from school but it's too late for you to back out now'.

Taking a deep breath, she stepped onto the stage. Realizing her schoolmates had recognized her, Brielle began to tense up a bit and for a moment she froze. Then, however, the music started to play, she took another deep breath and before she knew it, she had blocked out the audience completely, all that mattered to her now was her performance. With extrordinary elegance, like that of a swan, she let out a huge bound across the stage. She was a gazelle leaping gracefully around the forest, a dolphin swimming swiftly through the sea, a dove soaring gently across the sky. She was in her comfort zone and nothing was getting her out of it anytime soon.

She continued her performance, each movement as beautiful as the last, and it soon started to reach it's end. She approached her final pirouette, the crown jewel of her performance, the one move to top all others. She sprung herself into the air. She was grand. She was majestic. She was no longer a gazelle leaping in the forest, she had moved far behond a dolphin swimming in the sea, you'd have never imagined she was a dove soaring across the sky. She was a tiger, pouncing upon her prey. She was fierce. She was passionate. She was about to blow her audience away. And so she did.

She opened her eyes and mind to a silent audience, each and every person within it stunned. The applause and cheers that followed the shock ambushed her ears. There wasn't a being in the room not on their feet. Brielle graciously took a final bow and the cheering continued as the stage curtain was drawn in. Still able to hear the wild applause, she was left with nothing to do but smile. She did her dance teacher proud today, doing the same to herself in the process and, with the joy and the energy of a child, she ran off to share her great experience with her best friend, Kiele.

Hayden heard clapping in the audience, but she couldn't care less about what was behind the tablecloth hiding her from the guests. Or maybe she'd care if, say, it would be a twelve feet chocolate cake or something spectacularly delicious along those lines, but the chances of that happening were laughable.

Through the open space between the table cloth and the floor, she looked at the feet walking past. It was so tempting. She would just have to stick her foot and...

But she'd blow her cover and how much food could she really carry while making a run for it? Well, life was about taking risks anyway.

For good measure, she took a whole chicken out of her collection and strategically put it to seem at fault if someone tripped. Then she carefully stuck out her leg.

She was nearly bloated for the night, anyway.

It wasn't long before Lowell returned, arms overflowing with plates, trays, and even boxes of more food. He had literal stacks of covered food on his head, in his hands, and anywhere else he could keep them balanced. He was so close to the buffet, and was relieved to see this...

But, then he tripped over Hayden's outstretched leg, and food went flying everywhere.


Kiele, on the other hand, had been enjoying her friend's preformance from a safe place in the crowd. So far, despite being seen by a great many people that recognized her, no one had questioned why she was here. That was an incredibly good thing as she planned on stealing away with Lowell any minute now, and he wouldn't want to go far from the crowds he was being paid to attend to. She clapped, smiling lazily, as Brielle's preformance ended, and glanced around. One of the workers had fallen. She frowned; poor guy...

Trudy could feel she was on the right path to finding the thief! Her only sadness: it was probably not Lowell. She was looking forward to getting the stick boy in trouble- make him walk the deck or something worse, like working with the bathroom attendants. No matter, she would be rewarded with food- good!

She sniffed her way to a counter-table that smelled of food much stronger than any other because the model-like guests barely had a piece of lettuce. This table: birthday part cake expolsion for 6 years olds.

She stopped to look at the table. A leg was poking out, looking somewhat lifeless. Oh crap! What if this person is dead? I CANNOT be caught with this --- on my shift, be messed up fo' sho' bro!... She thought to herself. She quickly turned the other way to fetch Lowell. For once, he may be useful, as a fall man.

As Trudy turned around to get him, she screamed at the sight on him crashing into her with tons of dishes crashing. Karma for wanting a fall man...

Hayden quickly pulled her leg back in, shaking with silent laughter. Oh, it was such a shame she couldn't see the facial expression of whatever poor idiot fell for it-- literally!

She managed to regain her composure and cough out "Loser", all while stuffing the food she collected in the bag she's brought with her, just for safety and comfort.

She still popped a little piece of cake in her mouth, delighted with how the stunt played out.

Laney cringed when she heard a large clatter from somewhere else on the ship, but soon after simply shrugged. Maybe it would buy her some more time away from the meatheads. They were probably all laughing at the poor sap who'd dropped something. That was distraction enough from her absence.

Laney could tolerate Chuck on his own. He listened to everything she said. He was wrapped around her little finger, but still he was so dim. She could barely have a proper conversation with him! She'd been trying to work up the nerve to dump him and hoped tonight would be the night. She'd wait until near the end of the party though. She wasn't heartless enough to do it now!... Well maybe she'd just text him after the party if she couldn't get his attention.

Brielle ran down the stairs beside the stage as quick as she could, scanning the audience for Kiele as she did so. She spotted her in the very middle of the audience, the perfect spot to see the stage, not too close and not too far away. Surely, she saw all of it. She rushed into the crowd, grabbed her friend by the arm and pulled her into space. Before Kiele even had chance to say hello, Brielle, jumping in excitement, screamed "Oh my god! That was amazing, I absolutely loved it Kiele, I loved it! Did you like it too?"

Aaaaaah, social reunions of high class, Elleanore never missed one. Even if she despised pretty much everybody around her, it was a good way to keep herself busy. And also, surprise! They had entertainment! Watching middle-class drop trays was just the last word in humor.

Hmmm, speaking about trays, she was actually hungry. She has been keeping a strict diet for months since that horrible, dark day where she discovered she had gained 0.25 pounds. She couldn't risk anything being in her position, she was basically a role model among the high class girls. They even asked her what brand of make-up she used every time she pulled out her favorite lipstick. Which by the way, wouldn't be a bad idea to give a retouch. She searched for the tube in her leather purse with a quick but delicate hand. But then, suddenly a girl (with the ugliest shoes humanity has made) tripped on something and fell behind her, just close enough as to accidentally push Elleanore's chair just enough as to make her drop her lipstick. "Hey! Watch it!" she arrogantly inquired to the poor girl. "How awful, now, where did that little tube went?" she whispered to herself until she spotted it's golden glow while it rolled through the floor almost being stepped twice, until it got out of sight after rolling right under the banquet table. "Ugh, great!" she said in the most sarcastic tone she could make. Wait, she can make someone go find it for her! Oh, never mind, nobody but her can touch that lipstick.

Hayden's feast of joy stopped right when she saw something golden rolling next to her, under the tablecloth. She picked up the golden tube, and upon closer inspection, she decided it was a tube of lipstick.

She didn't own one, but since her mother was rather fond of them, she was subjected to many of different shapes and colors in her childhood (and after discovering how gross and heavy they felt, she vowed to never touch one again).

By the looks of the prissy, expensive looking shoes nearing closer, it seemed like the owner was coming to get it back. So she did the most logical (stupid) thing she could think of.

She put it down and pushed it out from under the hiding place and watched it roll towards its possible owner's feet.

Chuck was having a ball! This was seriously like the best party he'd been to in months! The best he could remember any way. Him and his football buddies had just finished objectifying the female performers when they say some dweeb server trip with a bunch of trays! It was hilarious! Food went everywhere. It also caused something fairly amazing to occur. Chuck got an idea! An odd occurrence indeed. He stood on his chair, grabbing a handful of what ever was on his plate and flung it across the room. "FOOOOD FIIIIIGHT! WOOO!

Chuck's roar could be heard from on deck. Laney's eyes widened. "Oh dear god... How did I end up dating that idiot?" she muttered, remaining where she was. She'd spent far too much time on her hair to run in there and get nasty buffet noodles in it!

Maybe the hearing wasn't 100% accurate through the tablecloth, but by how loud the exclamation was, anybody could tell there was a calling for a food fight.

Hayden cringed.

She was all for chucking things at people-- it was tons of fun! Just not food. Especially because she, here, was trying to smuggle as much food as she could and all these people were wasting it like there's nothing else to care for in the world.

Well, she might as well grab as much as possible until she has where to grab from. She stretches her hand out, and moves it around, peeping for food.

Trudy's eyes grew wide. A food fight was the last thing she wanted- it was wasting precious food! But maybe she would be able to get more food if she let it happen... she slid to the side as food began flying and started stuffing her pockets with food.

"Hee hee, food for me~!" She chanted happy. She began moving under the table, following a trail of food leading under there.

Hayden thought she heard shuffling under the tables, coming closer and closer to where she was positioned. She hurriedly collected some food, but whoever was nearing her table (a dog? a person?) wasn't going to wait for her to set up everything for a hasty excuse.

She just hoped she looked like a guest, or at least an employee trying to salvage the food, as she was the tablecloth flap, probably to admit one more person (or maybe creature, who knew?).

Trudy quickly slipped the food she found into her pockets, shirt, and anywhere else it could fit as she kept crawling under the table.

"Ouch!" she said she bumped into a table leg and look up to see another girl with food under the table. She looked her over quickly and glanced at the steak lying next to her. "You gonna eat that, girly?"

Hayden looked, as well, at the steak, at the other girl, then at her nearly full to the brim bag and then shook her head.

"Nah, I've got about five. I'm trying to make some place for those little cakes-- you know, the ones with all that colored frosting," she jerked her thumb in the direction where she'd assumed the little cakes would be.

She nodded slowly and silently. "..." Then so suddenly, she jumped at the steak and ate it in 3 seconds flat. Before sitting back in a proper position to speak to this girl. "So who are you? The food thief?" She said lifting a brow suspeciously.

Hayden willed herself to be calm and not bite out some sarcastic remark that could actually get her in trouble. She liked living dangerous, but she really did want some of those little cakes and she'd rather make her own exit than be unceremoniously chucked off the ship.

"No, I'm actually the employee responsible with the cleaning. They mixed up the dates when they told me, so I came today and they just told me to stay put somewhere and, well, clean stuff," she lied right through her teeth. Eh, with her luck, this girl was smart enough to figure her out, but at least she tried. "As you can see, I'm doing that by collecting food. Since there's a food fight. But since these people obviously don't want it, why not take it for myself, you know?"

To be completely honest, she'd rather jump from an one hundred foot cliff than getting herself in a job involving cleaning, but what kind of idiot actually confesses to stealing?

Trudy stayed in her intimidation pose as she questioned. "So, you are stealing food for yourself when you are suppose to be working? Neglecting your job for selffish reasons?" she giggled and tossed her hands in the air happily. "That is my kind of gal! I am totally doing that too- unless you really are working, then I am just humoring you, eh?"

She really had no clue what to believe, but this girl had spunk. Trudy respected that.

Hayden was a little dumbfounded, but tried not to show it-- it might come off as looking stupid, and that wasn't the case. She regarded Trudy with the slightest new-found respect.

"Well, I'm glad we understand each other then," she said, slouching against one of the table's legs. "No hard feelings or need to rat each other out, right?"

"Hard feelings?" She laughed. "Girlfriend, I got way way more things to do then blabber somebody out for living! Plus, you would get away before my wide-load self could get out from under this table." She smiled and stuffed some cocktail shrimp in her bra. "Now I think it would be best to take the south stairs to the emergency exit that leads to the staff rooms quickest- you know these things when you fear cardio~"

Aidan sauntered out of the womens bathroom, finally after washing up and changing, she lay's back on the wall next to the door, tired. Not a minute on the ship and already they'd ask her to be cleaning the bathroom, because some idiot let there muddy dog in and he wrecked the place "The things I do for extra money" she muttered to herself and took a deep breath and sighed.

She starts to walk to the kitchen to do the job she was originally hired to do, while walking she see's some of the people from her school, but nobody she really associate's herself with . Then she noticed some people covered in food and cleaning off food from the floor, did something? "Damn what did I miss?"
